Anna Bon (Bondarenko) is a serial entrepreneur and business-development practitioner with a successful project-management track record across Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and China. A professionally trained conductor and violinist, she founded Suntri Music, a platform for the protection of copyright and monetisation of musicians' intellectual assets.
During the global crisis of COVID-19, Anna Bon (Bondarenko) directed her organisational experience and technology network into the digital transformation of healthcare. As CBDO of Dr.Umka — the R&D project building the first secure AI infrastructure for medical data and preventive medicine — she stepped into leadership of a new dialogue platform between the state, business, and the expert community.
Co-founder of DeHealth LTD (London). Member of the Electronic Coalition, a network of technocrats and professionals from the technology world. She leads the Consortium's work with international experts and state representatives across Ukraine, the EU, and the United States.
Why this work, now
The COVID-19 pandemic has made obvious what experts have been discussing for decades: the digital infrastructure of healthcare is not a technical detail. It is a matter of national security, economic resilience, and trust between the state and the citizen.
Ukraine does not yet have a single secure system for the exchange of medical information. Data of uncertain quality, the absence of unified identifiers, the uncontrolled operation of MIS vendors, gaps in the protection of patient personal data — each of these problems looks technical on its own. Together they form a systemic barrier to any serious modernisation of the sector.
The eHealth Consortium is our way of overcoming that barrier. It is an international non-profit structure uniting medicine and IT, law, policy, business, and science. We do not claim the roles of government or regulator. We build a dialogue platform on which decisions can be discussed, tested, and advanced together.
Ukraine has a unique chance to join the countries with the most modern electronic-health systems. We have the talent. We have the necessity. What remains is to build an institutional structure capable of sustaining the pace.

"We must create a real eHealth space, with clear rules, a development strategy, and information continuity. For Ukraine, this is a tremendous chance to join the countries with the most modern electronic health systems."
